Description: Oakland Waters is a privately owned fishery just north of the M62 near to the small East Yorkshire town of Snaith. The two acre specimen lake contains pike, carp and catfish to 30 pounds. The lake caters for ten pegs, which can be booked in advance. Three more lakes cater for the match and pleasure anglers.
Directions: Exit the M62 at J34 and take the A19 towards Selby. Turn right immediately after the power station going along the side of it. Through the village of Hensall under the railway bridge and 1mile further on the lakes are on your left.
Season: Lakes are open all year
Pike fishing between 1st October and 31st March
Day Ticket: £7.50 / Day (Dawn to Dusk).

Rules:
  •  Deadbaits only
  •  Semi-barbed trebles only
  •  Minimum 15lb line
  •  Minimum 30lb wire trace
  •  Minimum 42" landing net
  •  No Spinning
  •  Forceps required
  •  Please refloat fish when returning to water
  •  All pike to be treated with respect
